In Cambodia there may be as many as 50,000 girls trapped in the sex slave industry. Even when rescued, if training or employment aren’t available then 90% are re-trafficked. Girls who should be in school are instead trapped in lives where they are taken, held prisoner and used.
That is why BLOOM Cafe & Training Centre opened in July 2009 to train girls rescued from brothels in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Vocational training means new lives can be started, free from the enslavement of the past, allowing girls to be freed and grow into the women God created them to be.
