Gateway Youth

For Parents

Parents are one of the greatest influences on their child's life, and at Gateway youth we want to keep you updated and involved in all that we do.

This website will help keep you updated on all areas of what we do at Gateway Youth. However, feel free to contact us if there is a way that we can help or support you and your family.

Also, once a term, we will be hosting a “Parents Cafe” – a time to meet other parents with teenagers, hear from our youth leaders about what is happening at Gateway Youth and enjoy supper together.

Lastly, you can sign up for a regular newsletter which communicates with parents about what is coming up within youth ministry. Click here to subscribe to the "Youth - Parents Update" Newsletter.

Term 3 Parents Event - Facebook Forum

Earlier in the term, we hosted a Facebook Forum for parents, to help parents understand more about how to interact with Facebook, and provide boundaries for their students.

The parents that attended this event found it extremely valuable, and Tim Barham shared some excellent information about managing privacy, protecting your kids online, and other general guidelines on internet usage.

Tim has kindly agreed for this information to be shared with other parents involved in our youth ministry.
